The Vice-Governor Vasiliy Shvets, the Head of the Regional Industrial Policy Department Ivan Kulikov and the Head of Krasnodar Yevgeniy Pervyshov took part in the opening ceremony of the plant.

BASF, a German concern, brought into operation a plant for manufacturing admixtures for concrete in Krasnodar. The Company’s investment amounted to about 2 million EUR, and the plant’s capacity exceeds 5,000 tons of products per year.

Vasiliy Shvets noted that the bringing into operation a new manufacture facility will have a positive impact on the construction material market in the region.

- This is another page in the annals of friendship and partnership of Kuban and Germany – several large German companies has been already successfully operating in the region. This means that Kuban meets the world’s requirements for business, – the Deputy Head of the Region said.

Thus, the project was implemented in two stages, the company created a production and logistics hub in the South of Russia.

- Manufacture of construction materials is one of the priorities for the development of the industrial policy of our region. I am convinced that the product that will be produced at this modern plant will be in demand not only in our region, but also beyond its borders, – the Head of the Department Ivan Kulikov said.

He also emphasized that the start of the operation of the enterprise will allow the company to significantly reduce the delivery time for customers from the Southern Federal District and offer them a wide range of products adapted for use in the region.

The technological cycle of the new enterprise will be almost entirely built on using Russian raw materials, and the manufacture will be ecologically clean and without waste. The plant’s product line will consist of 20 species. Especially for the South of Russia, BASF chemists have developed three new admixture formulations for concrete. They will improve the time-yield of concrete with low water consumption and at the same time increase the concrete strength.

It should be recalled that the Governor of Kuban noted that the Krasnodar Region is interested in successful partners that will quickly and effectively gain a considerable momentum in the industry development. For its part, the region is ready to provide comprehensive support, including providing of tax concessions and various preferences.

So, STIHL, a German company for manufacturing motor tools for agriculture and forestry, brought into operation a logistics complex with an area of nine thousand square meters in Krasnodar in September.
