For the first quarter of 2023, the growth of GRP of Kuban amounted to 102.5%

Positive dynamics is shown by all major sectors of the economy. It was reported by the first Vice-Governor of the Krasnodar Territory Igor Galas.

«The economy of the region continues to maintain positive trends in most major industries. According to the results of the first quarter of 2023, the growth of indicators was achieved in industry, agriculture, construction, transportation and storage, wholesale trade, public catering and the sphere of paid services to the population. These industries are developing and generate income to the local budget. As a result, the growth of GRP of the region in January – March is estimated at 102.5 percent,» – said Igor Galas.

Industrial production index is 109.3%. In the transport sector, volume of services increased to 106.2%. Passenger traffic in rail, road and water transport showed strong growth as well. Compared to last year, there has been an increase in agricultural production. For three months of 2023, this indicator is 104.3%, a year earlier — 103.2%. Positive dynamics in public catering remains at the level of 100.6%.

The situation in the economy had a positive impact on the standard of living. There has been an increase in real wages by 6.1%.
