Delegation from Krasnodar region is on a visit in China

The delegation is headed by Vice-Governor Alexander Ruppel.

«We are partnering with People's Republic of China to develop a strategic cooperation. China is one of our key business partners in foreign trade, and last year our total trade turnover increased by 25 percent. Moreover, China is the second largest buyer of Kuban products. The region's main exports include mainly agricultural items such as oil and fat products, oilseeds and fruits, meat and meat by-products. During the visit, we have several meetings planned in official and business circles. We will discuss not only trade development but also attracting investments and implementing joint projects,» said Alexander Ruppel.

One of the key events of the visit will be participation in a major international exhibition of food products and processing technologies, the FHC Shanghai Global Food Trade Show (FHC CHINA), held from November 12 to 14 in Shanghai. 15 companies from the Krasnodar region take part in it. They will be displaying their products at the collective booth.

Among the participants of the collective booth are producers of cereals, legumes, oilseeds, sunflower oil, wheat flour, beet sugar, and confectionery. Moreover, Kuban companies have brought to the exhibition sausages and pates from vegetable raw materials, jams, syrups, vitamins, sports nutrition, organic teas, as well as alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

FHC China is one of the well-known exhibitions of food, beverages and processing technologies, with approximately 2,500 representatives from 30 countries participating in the exhibition in Shanghai each year.
